I am Gediminas Sadauskas. I was born and raised in Lithuania. I got interested in photography after I saw voshod film photo camera. It was a Soviet toy used by two generations. So I tried it. Naturally, my first shot was far from perfect.

      I took up photography in 2011. I remember how I went for a walk and just took photos of Vilnius streets. After a while I got more confident and I started to approach strangers and take their photos. I also started to take photos and build stories of people whom I met at the institutions. Later, there was a sequence of portraits of young woman. My goal was to reveal an inartificial side of a person. The photography that steals most of my free time is the photography of a person.

     At the moment I am using a medium format.
